The first Rollei Lion Rock outdoor tripod generation was appreciated equally well by professional and discerning amateur photographers. The new Mark II models therefore represent logical progress. Actually the challenge of covering completely contradictory requirements, without making compromises was and is the basic idea behind the concept of the high-end Lion Rock tripods. The tripod legs were wound to the exact millimetre from 11 extremely thin carbon layers in order to be able to work against the main load direction. This precise, very complex production allows for a load-bearing capacity of an enormous 20 kg with a dead weight of not even 1.5 kg with an optimal lack of vibration. With the 28.5-cm tall central column, which is rotatable by 180 degrees, you achieve a maximum height of 149.5 cm. Rollei Lion Rock Mark II outdoor tripods have to prove themselves day after day in the merciless everyday life of wildlife and nature photographers. Anyone who plans shoots in the eternal ice, under a glowing desert sun or in harsh salt water, must be able to trust his/her tripod blindly. All structural components of the Lion Rock Mark II series withstand the most adverse environmental conditions and can be operated safely and accurately regardless of the weather. Every tripod leg has a clearly visible scale on the ground segment and all upper elements have a broad coating of very soft foam material. The Rollei Lion Rock 20 Mark II can be telescoped to a packed dimension of only 53 cm for transport in your luggage and there is room for it with the practical accessories in the durable tripod bag with the sturdy buckle closure.
